Eesti Metall OÜ’s main area of activity has been buying up and processing ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metal. Eesti Metall OÜ started its economic activities in May 2000 in Jõgeva. By now the company has expanded its activity to Tartu, Tallinn, Paldiski, Viljandi, Sillamäe, Põlva and Valga.

From December 22, 2008 on CRONIMET Estonia OÜ and Eesti Metall OÜ form the new joint venture company CRONIMET Eesti Metall OÜ.
Through six scrap yards in Estonia CRONIMET Eesti Metall OÜ collects the scrap metals from the companies, private people and local governments. The new joint venture will also import different ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
The company helps to organise the non-waste and useful metal-related waste management by providing the professional services and personal waste management integral solutions to the clients.
CRONIMET Eesti Metall OÜ handles beside the ferrous and non-ferrous scrap cables, trafos, electronical scrap and batteries.
In April 2010 the company expanded to Latvia having one operating scrap yard in Riga and one in Gulbene. The business is operated by CRONIMET Latvia SIA.
Most of the recovered material will be sold mainly to Europe.
